Wine Tasting in Santa Barbara

Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to recap how I spent this past weekend. This past Saturday, I went wine tasting in Santa Barbara, California with a couple friends. The day started out by taking the Amtrak train from Chatsworth, CA to Santa Barbara. Once we arrived, we went and grabbed some food at Finney’s Crafthouse. They have a few locations all across the state. It’s a great spot to grab a beer and watch sports.

After lunch, we headed to our first stop on the wine journey. We stopped inside the Melville Winery Tasting Room. We were able to get seated right away. We ordered the tasting flight and their wine was absolutely delicious. Tasting flights are the only way to taste wine in my opinion.

The last and final stop was at the Paradise Springs Tasting Room. This spot was really cool because they had an awesome DJ outside on their grass area. The wine was not my favorite compared to Melville. I did end up purchasing their bottle of Sommet Blanc. It is sweet as well as dry. I loved this one.

I highly recommend checking out these spots.
