My Week in Palm Springs – Christmas 2022

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! This holiday season was pretty interesting and fun. I spent time with family and friends. I am lucky to be able to celebrate both Hannukah and Christmas. For Hannukah, I love it because it means brisket, latkes, dreidels, gifts, and quality time with family. It also means lighting candles every night for 8 days.

For Christmas, I was lucky to be able to join my boyfriend and his family at their family house in Palm Springs. The first day was just arriving and getting unpacked and organized. We saw my boyfriend’s mother, sister, and stepdad. Later that night, we attended a party at their friend’s house where there was a white elephant game. For the white elephant, I bought a fondue kit from Amazon. I thought it would be a supser cute idea for all the couples if someone wanted to have a fun date night. My boyfriend and I received a sushi making kit and a tortilla blanket. Both gifts have been amazing so far.

Throughout the week, we played lots of pickelball. We also went on a beautiful hike in the mountains of Palm Springs to a waterfall. The waterfall was absolutely stunning. Later that afternoon, we went into the town and went to a smoothie shop. During this time of the year, Palm Springs is buzzing.

Next on the adventure was a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park. It is fascinating how big the park is and how it seems like it is just desert but it ends up being so much more once you are in the park. It is also not captionable on camera. It amazed me how huge and massive the rock boulders are as well.

Overall, the week was a great experience.
