Memorial Day Weekend May 2022

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! I went to San Diego this weekend with a couple of friends! We left Saturday morning. First, we stopped in Murrieta, California to get food at a good kabob restaurant called Old Market Grill. I ordered the Chicken Kabob Plate. It was good but the only thing I would change is no sauce on top of the chicken.

After getting food, we continued to make our way to San Diego and stopped at Better Buzz Coffee. I ordered the Iced Hazelnut Latte. It was absolutely delicious. We finally made it to our hotel after that. Our hotel that we stayed at was the Wyndham Hotel Bayside.

After checking into our hotel, we walked along the boardwalk for a little and then went back to our hotel and got ready for dinner. We had dinner at Monzu Fresh Pasta. I ordered the Tagliatelle Pasta with Pomodoro sauce. We also had a chocolate lava cake for dessert.

After dinner, we walked around the Gas Lamp District and went to a couple clubs and bars to end our night in a fun way.

Sunday, we woke up and got ready to go to brunch. We had brunch at insideOut in Hillcrest. We then walked around the Hillcrest Farmer’s Market. I picked up a few delicious homemade lollipops. After, we headed to La Jolla and walked along the coast. It was beautiful.

Sunday night was all about sushi and rooftops. We ate at Lumi Rooftop in the Gas Lamp district. We then headed to Hillcrest again to go to Rich’s San Diego and Flicks. The only 2 gay bar/clubs in San Diego. It was very fun and we ended up meeting two really sweet boys that we talked to the whole night. I was trying to set up my GBF but my attempts failed. Overall, it was a very fun weekend and I am really happy that I went.
